“Fine Dining” with the King Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
Step into this quaint little restaurant; and take a seat for today you will be dining with the King of Kings. The almighty! Can you imagine for a moment what it would be like to sit just you and God, to break bread together? Wow
Let me break down the symbolism, found in this piece.
The sign on the wall; Pain de la sie = bread of life
Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
A reminder in our acceptance He is now part in us. We now are the temple of the Lord, His dwelling place.
1 Corinthians 6:19
Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own.
Hence then in taking back our Temple, stepping out of the flesh and into the spirit (becoming aware that we are the Temple) a big part of that is: taking time to enjoy and savor every bite (moment) as we dine with God. Savor the morsels of His goodness and mercy.
What will be served?
Tiberian Grilled fish John 21: (v3) we are going with you
(v6) an abundance (multitude)
(v7) Jump out of your safe place and run to Him the one who loves you deeply
They caught some 153 (v11) the number of fish the significance of that number is: an overflowing blessing.
The King with whom you are dining is so in Love that He is pouring out on us (You) an overflow of blessing.
Glass of wine Proverbs 3:10 Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.
A bowl of fruit Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
And then for desert
1 Samuel 30:12a and they gave him a piece of a cake of figs and two clusters of raisins. And when he had eaten, his spirit revived
So that was the menu. A meal thought out a meal of Love and blessing is set before you. One selected with you in mind to bless us (you) with an abundance, to heal and revive us (you) to cause us (you) to awaken to our true identity. An identity of honor as we are not only called as His Bride, but also as His children (Dearly Loved) His ambassadors, and Royal priest.
So take time here as you dine to take it all in savor every morsel, savor the dining experience. Walk according to your true call and identity.
On the wall along side of the sign is a picture of the Bride adorned and ready for her blessed day, she has been adorned and made spotless.
A glass plate with a red cardinal = symbolizes passion, warmth and vibrancy. As well as hope, love, focus and strong energy (to run the race) and renewal. Here again is a mention of renewal, hum!
Also a cardinal will aggressively defend his territory, and fight attackers with ferocity. Indeed, they have been known to fight ghost males (their reflections) in mirrors for hours on end.
Fighting the flesh and standing firm in the fight.
Finally the flowers on the wall Symbolize= No longer a wall flower you were meant to stand out to bloom to expose the world to the bright and beautiful color in your life.
Each of us have been given an invitation to dine with the King. A time to be appreciated and with a quiet little table set to perfection, where the conversation is focused and intent. For the King is so in love with us (you). Put on your best, and enjoy the experience.
